DAMN THESE CLOSETS……
How difficult is it to be in the closet???.......extremely difficult……that’s the answer……you may gasp for some fresh air…but you are still left breathless……
And how different are Indian closets from other closets???.........
Very very different…they must be the most labyrinthine closets ever present…..you may get lost in them forever and never get out of them for your entire lifetime…….
It so happened….that one very cute looking blogger invited me for coffee….(despite the fact that he has never seen me….not that I am disappointing to look at……but still)…..but I have to refuse the invitation….due to the fact that I am still inside one of these labyrinthine Indian closets…..and I don’t know when I can come out of it……
It is not that someone has locked me in it…… and it’s my own choice……. but I am going to stay in it atleast for a while…..
This may be difficult to understand for most foreign and some Indian readers…..but circumstantially….you do need to stay in there…..and for some people there is no way out……..
You still have a society where *being gay* is a taboo….people don’t understand or don’t want to understand……..some of them (gay men) are married…..while some gay men have parental obligations…..and you just cannot help it…..
While I was in the *West*….there were gay men who would just sneer at you if you tell them on chat that you are still closeted….. this attitude….I think is totally despicable…..you need to understand that person it is not out of pleasure that you are not *out*……and everyone is not privileged enough to be *OUT AND PROUD*!!!
So what do these presently irretrievable-from-the –closet gay men like me do???......surf the net for gay porn……….secretly have hopeless crushes on other men………chat on gay.com……..or have their own weblogs!!!
